about me

Developing a passion for art at a young age, Rachael had always hoped she would be able to pursue a career within the arts industry, having spent the last twelve years as a tattoo artist, that dream has been realized and continues to flourish. Pulling on their interest and lived experience, Rachael’s tattooing styles can best be described as Illustrative, inspired by Japanese, Neotraditional, and New School. Their artistic style comes from a time spent growing up in Japan and had the privileged to experience a deep appreciation for the art, history, culture, and rich traditions at a young age. Looking back at their art, they credit their love for the creatures, fantasy, and the bizarre. Appreciating dark fantasy movies and videogames; to the games Dungeons and Dragons, as well as Magic: The Gathering, has also been a big influence in their early art and continues to influence them to this day. This influence can be seen in her custom, hand-drawn tattoos that are unique for each client’s needs, but also because they truly bring to each person ideas to life in vibrant art that will surely catch people’s eyes.

Rachael has been featured in a variety of magazines, most recently, including Skin and Ink Magazine, Summer 2023 Edition. Beyond this, Rachael has also won a wide range of awards, including: Mythical Heaven and Hell First Place 2021, Northern Lights Heaven and Hell First 2022, Middle of the Map 2025 2nd Runner Up, and Milwaukee Tattoo Festival 2022 2nd Runner Up.

With a passion for traveling, you can catch Rachael at conventions and guest spots at tattoo studios around the nation or her home studio, Pink Widow, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. When not keeping up with her jam-packed work schedule, you’ll find Rachael hiking, camping, painting, sculpting, and befriending the local stray cats.
